Redman has been talking about his new album Muddy Waters Too for years now but this is the first time when it feels like it actually may see the light of day soon.

After the excellent single ‘Ya!’ last month which also later received a music video treatment, the legendary Wu-Tang affiliate is back with another new song titled ‘1990 Now’ where he once again revisits the throwback sound but in a newer way. We’re loving Redman’s recent streak of music. Check it out below.

Redman returned to the scene with a new single titled ‘Ya!’ and since then, it has been in constant rotation for us.

The rap veteran is mow offering the music video for the high energy track which was produced by Mike And Keys from Futuristikz. It serves as the latest single in promotion of his long awaited new album Muddy Waters Too. “The album Muddy Waters 2 doesn’t have a release date for the reason [that] it’s not finished yet,” he told VIBE. “I’m a perfectionist. What can I say? But, I can promise you the texture and sonics on the album will bring you back to that ’90s feel we all miss!”

Reggie's one of my favorite rappers of all time, but this is just fuckin' up his legacy. If we really can't get some dark and funky shit, rename the title of the album to somethin' else.
