That's the only thing Bis is lacking
Some dope beats.
Imagine what him and Premiere would put together.
I dont care what any 1 says aint no 1 fucking with Bis when it comes to lyrics.

His biggest problem is he doesn't know how to make a song. Look at his last album, he had decent beats on the whole album but he forgot to put some choruses/hooks in there. Him rhymin' for 50 plus bars every song everytime just gets boring. And he fails badly when he tries to make a concept record ("Stupid Producers", "U Didn't Care", etc).
-
he's my favorite emcee, peace.
-
2000 BC probably has the WORST choruses of any album I've ever listened to, excluding the title track of course. I can't sit through and listen to it just because of the hooks, he really needs a good producer.

2000BC was a classic, what are you smoking, peace.

You don't need a chorus everytime, you can a break in the rhyming just have the music ("T.R.O.Y.", "I Ain't No Joke", etc.) just don't rhyme for the whole track, every track and make more songs with content.

I just don't think that Canibus has good chorus writing ability, and therefore it is pointless him concentrating on that because that is not his skill. However, like C2 said, he can't just rhyme for a whole album without any choruses.
I don't want him to go down the route of getting loads of rnb singers to do hooks for him cause that just wouldn't be his style but I think he does need to get someone to do Premo-esque scratched hooks on his shit, cause that would make most of his tracks since 2000 BC a lot better than they were.

Alerg, 2000BC is one of my favorite albums, and Canibus is one of my favorite rappers. His verses are all ill on that album, and a few of the songs have decent hooks, but there is no denying that the majority of the hooks are extremely annoying. I'm not sayin' the album isn't good, it's great infact, but it would've been much better with some good hooks on it. He can't write hooks, it's obvious.. he needs some outside help.

there was some nice hooks on his newest joint... as for beats, Stoupe will lace him nicely. his Rip The Jacker featuring The Enemy Of Mankind project will be ill from top to bottom...

he should he's got mad skillz...Anyone like that 8 minute freestyle he has with Journalist? I think its tight...
