That's really hard. I think both versions are a 5/5. I could go either way, but right now I'd say the OG version.
-
i agrree
-
I catch myself pumpin' the remix version a lot more than the original one lately but I still go wit' the OG.
-
I have to go with the remix, it has more funk and sounds better suited for Cube.
Like the remix video better than the OG too.
peace,
tnp

damn I never knew there is a remix, but the OG version is definately a 5/5 classic song, beat, lyrics, and flow. Could u hook me up wit that rmx?
-
In '94 I would have picked the remix cause I played the original out so bad it was ridiculous but now I prefer the original. That shit is so damn smooth. QDIII = underrated. Ice Cube produced the remix. He has skills on the boards cause he produced a lot of bangers like "Hoo-Bangin'" and "The World Is Mine".

Ay TNP... where's best place to suggest albums to check out for that list?
I'll say it here anyways...
I'm pretty sure he did some stuff on Del's 'I Wish My Brother George Was Here'

True. I don't know which tracks he did but I'm sure he co-produced a few tunes there.
tnp also forgot a song on the Friday OST recorded by Bernie Worrell & Bootsy Collins. Cube produced it together with Bootsy.
-
Best place to suggest albums to add to the list? the Vault (or this thread is cool too)
Yeah, I don't have "I Wish My Brother George Was Here", whenever I saw it I always passed it up. I'll check up on it (or if anyone has the OG...?)
Dr. Funkenstein, I'll add that when I get home today, thanks for making me aware (I was doing this at 1:30 last night so there are bound to be a few oversights)
