i gotta say rhythmalism...that was the first time i really got into quik...although the pre release of unda tha influence was much better than the actual release, i don't know if that counts as an album by quik....
-
safe and sound...
i also editted the poll you had "Born and raised in compton" down as an album... i guess u meant "quik is the name"
-
hard to choose.... quik releases so much good shit.... but if i had to, i would say safe n sound.
-
Quik is the name
-
SAFE AND SOUND ;D
-
Easily Under The Unfluence.
-
Rhythmalism. Musical perfection imo
-
"Safe + Sound"
The hardest, and funky-est Q lp 2 date.
A lil' bit of Gangsta shitt mixed with raw emotion and a musical genius and you got the red lp.
-
Under The Influence.
I get what he was tryin to do with this one. And I like it.
-
Rhythmalism. Musical perfection imo
Yep, that's my vote too - damn shame people didn't catch on to the world of the rhythm-al-ism. As Quik himself said, the album was just too mature and groundbreaking for the majority of his fan base.
-
Safe and SOund/ Balance n Options
-
Safe + Sound
-
Rhythmalism gets my vote
-
u know to be honest... i havent listened to Rhythmalism much.. guess coz i accidentally copped the clean ver 2nd hand... (sux when that happens)... i'll give it a bump tho see how i like it.

Overseer, you NEED to go back and take a look at that!!!
:'( that Overseer hasn't fully expierenced the joy of Rythm-al-ism
-
I'm doing it right now.. i'll bump it while I shave :)
-
^^ Shit man, how long does it take you to shave?? ;)
-
lol... i take mah time... and i'm doin mah head too! (with clippers)
/me just also realised most of his favourites from greatest hits are on this one...
ps

-

HAHAHAHAHAHA. He does look like a complete flamer. But dont' tell Nate, I'm sure he lovin the hair.

I couldn't decide between safe and sound and Rhythmalism. so I fliped a coin. lol. I went with Safe and Sound. they are so so so so great. BOTH of them. and they compliment each other so well. they came out right after the other. it's where quik changes his style completely. those two albums together make the best set of cds in Rap history. IMO. Safe And Sound and Rhythm a Lism = GOOD SHIT
ps. you shouldn't vote unless you have peeped ALL his albums. old and new. I wonder just what some of you are thinking when you say Under the Influence. it's good. but no ware near his best.
and har har at big bad ass. don't hate on my head of hair.
"Back in the day when the hottest thang was jerry curls, you could always spot a gangsta by the way his hair out grew his girls" - Nate Dogg.

hmm ok i just listened to it.... its pretty good.. it was the first quik album i bought... its the RnBest of them all for sure... Safe+Sound still tops it...
i'll take this one to work tomorrow and bump it there :)
-
I'd say....Safe N Sound, defo #1. Rhythmalism #2.
-
Its a tie between Safe and Sound & rhythmalism
-
Rhythmalism
that album is a classic perfection, just so many tight tight tracks.
-
Rhythmalism , then Safe and Sound then quik is the name...then under the influence....
....damn difficult really to rate in order....i plays the best of album
alot ;)
-
No way. Quik is the name CD. Thats the best 1
-

-

ps quik looks like a homo on the cover

He took a major risk. He is blood affiliated wearing a silk blue shirt, that was the look of a player 8) That looks stylish to me but everyone's intitled to their own opinion I can see how people would think that especially with his hair being let down. That album is without a doubt his # 1 for musical greatness next being Safe + Sound. Quik is the name is his best album to date first. original, fresh, real so many different words to describe this one and the music was good too. I feel Rythm-al-ism was taking his attention away from the streets, quiting the gang banging, showing love to both as he wears the blue shirt. claiming he isnt a gangsta on track 6. Anyone else agree with this or am I thinking to much into this album?
ps Anybody else really dig the Thinkin bout U track. Thats a classic is my eyes
