Xzibit
Snoop
Kurupt
Daz
Krayzie Bone
hon. mention
Dre
Warren G
Nate
Kurupt had probably the worst fall off in the history of hip hop
Warren G and Dre aren’t great rappers they’re more known as great producers
Nate is not a rapper. But he’s probably my favorite singer ever besides MJ and Bob
-
Snoop Dogg
Crooked I/Kxng Crooked (surprised no one has mentioned him)
MF DOOM
Kurupt
Guru
Subject to change depending on how I'm feeling, although Snoop would always be in my top 5 regardless. Krazie Bone is not far off either.

That's one thing we've always agree on. Kurupt's fall off was massive. In fact, you could even argue he fell off not once--but twice!
Death Row era Kurupt everything he did was fire!! I mean even on less acclaimed albums like Doggfather or RRGB he is dropping nothing but flames!! Then he fell off with Kuruption--but still going back we love that album and a lot of its joints, he even had a nice comeback with Streetz and then his 3rd solo had bangers.
Then he linked back up with Suge and suddenly became completely unlistenable and that's one of the worst fall-offs in rap history--as you said.
I consider Nate like a rapper who sings.. sort of like Bone when they are singing... Crossroads is still a rap song even though it's mostly singing...
As for Warren and Dre yes, a lot of their shit is written for them so I had honorable mention

Kurupt falling off was weird as fuck. Dude was amazing.
Snoop has to be the biggest fall off ever. But it's obvious when he D.O.C. and RBX left the picture he went from the cream of the crop to that flea on his on nut sac that he rapped about.

The fall-off from Doggystyle to Doggfather was pretty epic at the time. In retrospect a lot of people like Doggfather; especially fans that were too young to catch Doggystyle fever when it was being released, or old enough to feel the disappointment of Pac dying followed by Doggfather being the first Death Row effort not to live up to the height. The didn't quite feel the full effect of it all.
So for fans who were around for all of that I actually degree. The fall-off on Doggfather started a depression for me that lasted until Eminem came out on Aftermath. Pac dying didn't actually started my depression and season of sorrow because you still had hopes that Dre and Snoop could lift up the Coast--first Dre failed to meet expectations on Aftermath Presents (which was depressing then but long-term ended up being one of my all-time favorite albums, I actually listen to it more than any of Dre's albums currently) and then Snoop bricked with Doggfather it was like "okay, fucc, well my life is over". And I've never been the same since.
I can't explain the feeling of dread, I had a friend at school who had a driver's license sneak out at lunch break to buy me the album. Spent all day at school looking through the liner notes, then went home that night and poured through it hoping it would give the boost I needed and get my energy and life back on track--I got to that last song and it was like I wanted to keep skipping forward... I was like "There's got to be a Murder Was the Case level track on her, there's got to be a Gin and Juice level track, etc." that was the expectation.
You wouldn't expect after the long wait for Snoop, who at the time was the biggest artist in all of rap, to release something that wasn't at least as good as Dogg Food or the Murder Was the Case Soundtrack. It didn't even have a track to the level of other joints that were coming out of his camp like "Beware of My Crew".

I am suprised Snoop is on so many list - he made some insane songs, and 2 Classic albums Doggystyle & Last meal. But he is also the biggest liar and sell out of all time, and so many on here cares about the persona of the rapper.
Game, Dmx, Wu-Tang, Snoop & NF
How is DMX not on that list they made? crasy.
-
