I would prefer they release the OG tracks that they recorded years ago but Daz has done this sort of thing before

I don’t think it’s that unusual for producer to rework previously recorded tracks. Several of his songs from dazzamatazz were recorded years before and had different artists on it. ‘Are You Single’ for example. We Rolling from the latest Dogg Pound album was recorded back in 2018.
There are plenty of examples of artists recording verses over skeleton beats that are later reworked into different songs. Daz can be a crackhead at times, but reworking old unreleased songs is not something I’m going to criticize him for. Now if he’s chopping up already released songs and reworking them into new songs, that’s different but I don’t recognize any of the verses in this song.
