I'm not going to say Lifestylez Ov Da Poor and Dangerous is the better album or a classic just because it's the only album released before this great MC died. It's very overrated.
The better album is:

I prefer Lifestylez Ov Da Poor over The Big Picture simply because it feels much more like an album rather than a compilation of tracks by the same artist. As good as job as Rawkus did putting that album together for me it just doesn't match his first album in overall quality.
-
Both albums are tight and to me they both classics but i think Lifestylez Ov Da Poor and Dangerous is better.

both are classics but lifestylez is obviously better. most of the shit on tbp was taken from freestyles or the d.i.t.c. album. they were trying too hard to make him appeal to the mainstream with that release..it just doesn't fit the same guy who recorded devil's son.

Although I gotta go with:
"Lifestylez Ov Da Poor and Dangerous"

and I have grown attached to this sound when I think of L.
"M.V.P." iz my classic summer joint.

It's The Big Picture for me. Although Livestylez... is a dope album the production can be a bit boring at times and it isn't the classic it's rumoured to be. The Big Picture on the other hand has a lot of classic songs like "Ebonics", "Flamboyant" and "'98 Freestyle" (one of the illest freestyles I have ever heard), not to mention the Intro. L spitting one of his best verses over a vintage Primo beat... it doesn't get better than that.
The Big Picture is my choice.
-
Big Picture coz it had tighter production.
The song Hesit on Big Picture makes me drop my jaw in awe everytime i hear it.
-
hard one.. i think i like em pretty much the same

Lifestylez Ov Da Poor and Dangerous for me :)
