Post by: jaytee on February 14, 2023, 03:17:08 AM: I remember when I was little and "Knee Deep" would come on the radio and I'd be disappointed that it wasn't "Me, Myself and I." Don't get me wrong, I do love Funkadelic as well.

I have fond memories of De La Soul growing up, watching their videos, listening to their albums and this one really hurts. I was wondering why only Pos rapped at the Grammy's and Coachella. I did not know about his health problems.

Trugoy aka Plug2 aka Dave, you will be missed.

Post by: dnjp4life on February 14, 2023, 08:09:36 AM: Yeah, this is sad. RIP Trugoy, I enjoy De La's first album a lot, it's a really goofy, fun listen, and they ushered in a new style of rap at the end of the 80s that influenced a lot of other rappers.

Tragic that he passed just weeks away from their music gaining more exposure on streaming sites. I understand it's something the group have been fighting for some time.
