sounds like a codec prob
yep no way that can be just sound...650mb is equal to a film on avi format...
what you trying to play it on...and what pc you got cos mac os dont like avi...
...if its windows media player you may need mpeg4 3.11 alpha
otherwise known as divx3.1.1 alpha
ot try dixv 4.12 codec
these usually solve the problem bro

easiest way to make an vcd svcd
get a harmony vdr video disc recorder
i use 1 of these for audio cds vcd and svcds its about £380
but worth it
-
Its not hard at all bro to rip videos in vcd...xvcd format...
...those websites i provided have step by step guides ;)
The hardest thing about making a vid is the time it takes not the difficulty of how to do it.
Just post here when you get somewhere with the codec so you can see the video

Just use nero
I do it all the time
go to vcd and select the vids(you can even select m2v, probaly a menu will pop up and choose turn off standard affcompliance)
Some videos got a bug so u need to rencode them but the most vids work fine

nah reason why i said about mac os is that there were reportedly alot of porblems with the encoding of the software at first..esp running osx jaguar...
...also alot of problems using quicktime although if you get the right codecs the first time round no problems should exist ;)
my bad for not explaining ...

lol...cool...sounds like you know your macs....thats cool yeah i have Jaguar mac os X 10.2.6 right now....and at first there wasnt really any good software for it.....but now its all out its just that mac os X is a whole new operating system.....anything made before X was not compatible with it so every piece of software had to be remade for os X......but everything has pretty much catched up.....with exception of a few pieces of software......but yeah everything works great.....and the new version of the os is coming soon its code named "Panther" mac os X 10.3 cant wait for that......(http://a772.g.akamai.net/7/772/51/b8adf49d172d60/www.apple.com/macosx/images/navfinder08282002.gif)

This is what I do when I burn music-videos:
1. Download the video
2. Use TMPGEnc (http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/tmpgenc.html) to decode the video, easy as cake
3. Burn the output video to a CD or DVD. Finished.
Easy as burning mp3z, only it takes more time to decode.
They also have a version specially for DVD's, (http://www.pegasys-inc.com/e_main.html) but I haven't got a DVD burner yet.
-
and u can put on a whole bunch of music videos by doing this?

Yup.
Usually I fit about 14-16 music-videos on one CD-R, depending on the size of the music-vidz..
Fully viewable in my DVD-player.. as long as your DVD-player can read VCD-format..
But when I get a DVD-burner, I figure that I will be able to get 100 (hundred!!) music-videoz
on 1 single DVD-R.. can't wait...
