Seen this on FB yesterday.
RIP to the great man.
-
Damn, rip!
-
My first thought was, "Didn't he die already?" But then I realized I was thinking of Prince Ital Joe. In any case, RIP. Another Death Row presence bites the dust.
-
RIP Big Pimpin. I was just listening to tracks by him I was doing a outro inspired by him.
Somebody should put together a list of tracks he’s been on. He probably has an albums worth of material in the vault at Death Row

Man RIP Big Pimpin, I was just listening to Murder Was The Case this week like I always seem to do at this time of year and thinking how he tops off What Would You Do? so well when he comes in. He always added a certain something when he dropped his pimp philosophies on all those Death Row Records tracks.
These are all his features I can think off top:
Tha Dogg Pound - What Would You Do?
Nate Dogg - Almost In Love
Tha Dogg Pound - Big Pimin'
2Pac - Who Do You Believe In
Daz Dillinger - Baby Mama Drama
The interlude on Dogg Food, I think it's called Big Pimpin
-
He’s on a bunch of tracks on RAW
One nine 9
Who’s knockin at my door
Baccstabbers

"Big Pimpin 2" actually, as "Big Pimpin One" would be a full song on "Above the Rim" OST

Come on damn only 2 replies. This is a legend, show some respect!
Got the Above the Rim soundtrack and was expecting some hard core Dre produced Chronic/Doggystyle bangers--and then they took their foot off the gas for "Big Pimpin" -- I almost didn't even think it was a real song, I thought it was a sort of interlude or skit. I was only 11 years old in a suburb of Kansas City, so what did I know?
But it ended up being my favorite song on the album, played it all damn summer. What a great find for Suge and Dre to find guys like this--he really elevated every projected he was on. So creative and talented, props to the legend
RIP to a true G 8)

Dre found Big Pimpin on the Santa Monica pier I remember reading and heard his voice and brought him to to the studio and they were working on the above the rim soundtrack … still makes me wonder sounds like Dre put Big Pimpin on the song’s originally on Daz “ produced” songs …
Dre helped the songs more thank just a mixing credit ….
RIP Big pimpin
