Is this going to be officially released soon or was the leak something that someone has held onto for a while and has decided to let the masses have now?
I like the OG Jesus is King album and would be interested in getting this.

The last track with Eminem sounds like classic mid 2000s Dre production from the Eminem Show/Encore era.

Link?

That Glory track with snoop and dre fire. Best thing Dre or Kanye has put out in a minute

This sounds terrible. Two of the greatest rap producers of all time and this is what they come up with? I'm sure it still needs to be properly mastered, but yeah, this is not good at all. Probably a good idea this got shelved. I have not been feeling Dre's new production and rapping style, rapping in the high-pitched voice, rapping fast, producing songs that have so much going on in the instrumentals, sounds very noisy and chaotic. Maybe i'm just too old to appreciate the newer style of music these days, idk.

I do agree with the production. Coming from someone who likes to "trim the fat" from the music, there is a little too much going on. But, they have the luxury of being in a studio and i'm sure it sounds absolutely phenomenal. However most of us listen with 2 stereo channels and suffer from it

I think it’s top notch the drum samples the keyboard work the computer love sample on ashes is simply classic splash or Dre GFunk on some Kanye shit
It’s nostalgia and nothing more
Anderson Paak on Closed on Sunday with that same Minnie Ripperton that Nas and Tribe used is hip hop at church too
I just think it’s a lot to take in if you aren’t familiar with Kanye and where he was with that Jesus Is King Album this shit makes sense and sounds like a album and body of work that would have been epic if it was released
even that snoop joint pulling that I get lifted sample out they used on gin n juice I mean they threw it back came forward
had the Carlos Santana drums Wyclef did and rocked shit it’s dope but I guess everyone got a opinion

Agree with this. Kanye seems to love putting about 10 producers on each track. That for me is to many ideas on one track which to me sound a mess. Dre did the same on Compton which made it unlistenable for me. Also to much auto tune on here.

can anyone post it on any site we could download from please?

Just use any one of the many free youtube to mp3 sites out there. That's all anyone here is going to do, it's only available publicly on youtube right now.

I dont consider myself a hater in general.
But i do have a strong distaste for Kanye West.
The flow, the voice, the character, the content.
Even the sneakers.
And as a producer he is overrated.
Like he started looping up soul?
Forgot about the Rza?
In that sense It’s some kind of a nightmare to see Dre and his production team waste energy on this.
Its like Relapse all over again; Dre beats with puke on it.
-
This is actually the first time I listened to a whole Kanye album.
-
I feel so out of the loop, but if you listen to "Closed on Sunday" and then listen to "Lyrics to Go" by A Tribe Called Quest, Tribe used that sample so much cleaner and better.
-
I really enjoyed this album!!!! Don't know if it will officially be released but I have no complaints
-
i think it's decent overall. i'm not the biggest fan of Kanye's later work but the Dre versions are better than the previous versions of these songs. also it's not clear how these tracks would have been sequenced on a final version. it's obvious why Khaled chose the Use This Gospel Remix for release as it's a standout. This Is The Glory is also good especially the Dre segments but there are so many different versions of this track who knows how it would have ended up.
so potentially a great project if it was finished & sequenced properly. there's a certain sound Dre brings with the new drums/bass which is bright, crispy and not a million miles away from the sonics on Compton. as it stands about half of it doesn't do much for me but the rest is nice. good tracks:
Intro - great production with the different segments & switch-ups. classic Dre cinematics
LA Monster - much better than the other leaked versions of this track
Water - good hard hitting groove
Hands On - nice beat but quality not great on the leak
Ashes - good Computer Love sample, best mellow track
Use This Gospel - easily the most epic beat, standout
This Is The Glory - another one hindered by the low quality leak & too many alternate versions to judge properly. final Dre section is very nice.

Where can I find Ashes?
-
This is a decent effort from Dr. Dre and co after giving it a couple of listens. Quite experimental in parts, and gives off the impression that Dre and his team were just having fun in the studio coming up with interesting drum patterns to see which sticks, without too much pressure.
Ashes is really nice, though I prefer the original from the Donda album, and Everything We Need didn't need so much going on with it, but other than that I'm impressed with this. Shame we'll probably not get a CDQ release of the album any time soon.
