this one hits us very close, as styles was a day 1 who’s been covering west coast hip hop from the jump.. he used to be a prominent poster on this forum and leaves behind an impeccable legacy in west coast hip-hop journalism

as we got our start, when many publications flat out ignored us, styles was one of the first to show love. this was a man who truly cared about the culture and didn’t do it just to catch the hottest story or fish for the most clicks

a man of integrity and he will be missed TREMENDOUSLY.. enjoy your ascension and new journey brother.

R.I.P. to a west coast pioneer journalist. I interacted with Styles on this forum several times and he was always a standout cat. I remember he was the first to cover the Game and Yuk beef in detail back in the day. On he’s IG they listed an undisclosed illness, I hope it wasn’t cancer.

i don’t think it was cancer

from what i kno, he was under the weather and then shit went south
