the one issue i’ve had is that he releases way too much shit and that a lot of it has a very similar sound

wish he was more concentrated wit his efforts, but he has undeniable classix regardless

Yeah that's true. I've thought about that too. He has released a lot of material over the years and thus wasted a lot of potential that he could have invested in a more elaborately produced album. Nevertheless, he has released a lot of really good tracks and is a skilled rapper with a lot of soul and depth. He never comes across as forced or pretentious like many other rappers releasing music in this era
