The track was titled, “That’s Gangsta," which addresses what Cube took issue with. He explained that O'Neal was "more than just gangsta" and a star of the Los Angeles Lakers at the time.
“Cube was executive producing one of my records,” Shaq said. “And he put me in the studio with Dr. Dre. I did a song called ‘That’s Gangsta.’ Cube heard it and was like, ‘Nope. We’re not releasing this.’ Dre did the beat. I thought it was nice … And then I played it for Cube … He was like, ‘Shaq, you’re a f*cking Laker, bro. I don’t want you talking about nothing gangsta. We not doing none of that sh*t.’ And it never came out.”

He did a track with Xzibit on the hook or with versus as well around 2000 (either a restless left over or for this same album) they hinted about it on power 106 with Xzibit and Shaq separately
It was the album that got shelves the single blew up too it has Nate Dogg on the hook and DubC with the verse connected I think it was called.

When was dis?
I know Shaq and Money Mark had some music business the were doing back in like '04-'05. I wonder if this was the same time? I can't watch the video right now. They had Kay Slay, Canibus and Cory Gunz. Corey's dad and Shaq did music together back in the day. Mark, Shaq and Wack100's relationship came to light recently with Wack100 being accused of being a confidential informant.

True! Now that I was playing, I knew I had heard these tracks before, but it had been a long time! This is from the album "You Can't Stop The Reign", which was a dope album IMO. Thanks for the info, teecee.
