Jay-Z, Ja Rule & DMX .. all those ego's on one label?
-
Yeah Irv Gotti said their ego's got too big after they all blew up and decided to concentrate on their own careers first.
-
I think Ja really wanted it to happen a lot more than the other 2 artists.....I mean, after Jay and X got to know Ja, they prolly thought he was a little bitch or a homo and so on..... ???

Irv Gotti explained in XXL, they had all gotten too big ego's and wanted to focus on their solo careers. Plus X had disliked Ja from day one, and even dissed him subliminally on some songs ("We Don't Give A Fuck", "Do You").
They did only record two songs together, "It's Murda" from Ja Rule's Venni Vetti Vecci LP and "Murdergram" from the Streets Is Watching soundtrack. It's a shame that the album plans never materialized, because both those songs were fire...
