Title: Outlawz: Had an amazing dream about PAC’s disciples
Post by: TraceOneInfinite on November 01, 2024, 06:08:36 PM
You all seemed to enjoy some of my previous dreams—Suge in the kitchen baking in the oven, Mob Deep at the preschool lunch table bustin freestyles—well I might have had one of my best just last night… it was an epic, like a Gladiator style movie, all formulated in my own mind.  Probably because I’d been watching that 1970’s Jesus of Nazareth movie before sleep.  And I’ve always thought Pac to be like a modern day “Black Jesus” like the track from that 99’ Outlawz album Still I Rise.

So in the dream we down on the empty African planes between two epic mountains in the Sahara.  And there were like 4 tents set up in 4 corners like an extended boxing 🥊 ring.  I was homeless because I’d been exiled from my parents home and I was thinking to myself I wanted my own tent to sleep in—and that maybe it wouldn’t cost too much since it was just a simple tent 🏕️ alongside a fire to keep warm—in the middle of nowhere Africa.  But at the same time I know I’d have to be down with the Outlawz to get one.

At the 4 corners of this ring they’d made in the cold desert—were each member of the Outlawz, forming their own circle with their own sort of dance crew.  I think this part was inspired by those MC Hammer posts in the music forum because I had also been watching Hammer 2 Legit to Quit video before sleep.  So it was like a training amongst the Outlawz—rap battle/dance battles were how they were training in the desert so that they would be fierce when they faced other tribes.  It’s sort of like the Hammer video where he’s dancing in the fire with his team training to get the magic glove 🧤 for the godfather James Brown.
