The song is very quiet. I have to adjust volume to max to hear something.

That's also the case with the new NxWorries album, extremely quiet compared to the first album
I don't understand what the engineers are doing wrong, you use a well-mixed track as a guide and that's fine, it can't be that difficult

My guess is there's essentially no budget to produce this music, effecting the audio quality.

I think Kokane is doing quite well financially, maybe just the wrong ones

and let's take another example Evidence - Cats & Dogs (Deluxe Edition) = mega mixed, I don't think Evidence has a lot of money, well it may still be a label question

Exactly - I think it's not just a matter of money only paying attention to details.
