I can't believe you would even ask such a question!! "Why is the gangsta lifestyle so great anyway"!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. Over 100 years of slavery, rape, brutality and disrespect to black people and having to form a gang to survive in the streets full of dangerous white gangs such as the police and politicians, and you probably dont know nothing about the foundation or history of black street gangs. I don't mean to disrepect you in any way and a lot of people here don't know the topic.
I think this needs to be put straight forward for everyone to understand. The media capatilise on this by glorifying the lies and making it look like the hood is some place where blacks kill one another and are vicious animals but really don't look into the roots. People like so called "Gangsta Rappers" such as Snoop and Tray want to catch the attention and glorify gun violence to sell to the mass white majority who on't know the real issues in the hood, only hear what they see in the news and media.
I think we people here should think before we post. No disrepect intended and sorry for anyone who feels insulted in any way. I apologise

Sorry but checking the IP, and where I stay have nothing to do with being a gangster and I never once claimed to be a gangster. I am explaining history and teaching and if you had read my old site you would know about me and who I am (no, not Bobby Seale) and will understand me a bit better.
But I feel whoever is in charge of these boards should put up a post to post about the topic, so people will know. I hate to see people being disrespected. We are in a time now where we do not need this sort of behaviour

BUT.. I think the question "Why is the gangsta lifestyle so great anyway" was meant in a different way. I mean i think he was referring to the fact that everybody, at least once in a lifetime, dreamed about being a real G. Yeah, a real classic italian G, like Corleone, Gotti, Luciano, etc. Or a Crip. Or a Blood. And obviously, if you poor and you have to survive, you dont dream about being like Tray Deee. You dream to be a lawyer, a doctor, a rich guy, the boy of J-Lo, etc.
I think he was referring to us "european white guys".
In particular to the ones who writes in forums like they in a gang, who dress blue like Daz, who c-walks like WC, who speaks like MC Ren, etc. (and no, i dont do it. eheheh). All those stupid kids who thinks Gangsta is good! Who thinks it's a good thing, a thing to be proud of.
I'm sure he wasnt talking about black men. It's obvious that you are trapped in a ghetto, and you cant really choose 90% of the times. So he wasnt referring to the ones who have no choices, but to us europeans (like me, like Nima).

Ok, I can see your point. I am black but I do not talk like MC Ren. But to answer the question (apologies to Nima) the gangsta lifestyle aint great, having to struggle in any case for choices just to survive and live right is never great. I like the united Kingdom, although the gangs here have nothing to do with politics or retailiation and is merly to do with $$$, you see I like both US and UK and can never choose one over the other although UK is my slighty favourite choice due to living most of my adult life here. So to Overseer (who has my address) if you have my street number and zip code then why don't you come by for a beer :-*
To answer your question, yes very funny indeed and to question how someone like you got my address? when in fact the only person who should have it is the administrator who runs the board.

Yeh I live in Europe now. So it's impossible I've lived anywhere else right!!! You people need to realise that experience comes from lessons and complications due for seeking the comfort of life. And I'll argue to anyone that think La's biggest gangs are bloods and crips. There are hundreds of gangs there.
And talking about books, ever heard dont judge? To moderate ones character to what ambition or aspiration he has in life isn't one to be judges and lacked of his past experience to what he, in actuality, has knowlegable understanding for.
I think you should know people before they come on here. I can spot the real ones. I don't front coming on here screaming G'Leaf baby. I don't front nor ashamed of past or present residence. I love Europe in the United Kingdom.

No, no I can get defnesive and argue a point. Doesn't mean I'll hate you or post negaitivity about you in any way. I feel a lot of people have that weakness about them where they can't discuss or debate without hate, and that's a bad quality to have in life and I say quality because it's a tattoo scarred from emotions that make you decide and act how you do just as an encouraged talent to play the keyboard or guitar.

ok.. well its all good.. they havent asked for more info.. that picture is a bit worrying though... its got more information than you may realise in it. (look at the pages open in internet explorer.. one is the forum, one is my host)

i think antonio (err. dpgcitalia.. or whatever name it is this week) summed it up best.. it depends on how you interpret the question. i took it as.. why do people try and glorify it, and why do people try and fake to be like it?
for example.. this site.. igangsta.com is and has been always meant to be an oxymoron... its a piss take at those pretending/claiming to be gangsta's on the internet.... igangsta = internet gangsta = an impossibility... those who have been around for the 3 or so years i've been operating from here (since before the forum when i had a news site here for one) know have i used to is a platform to do my part help expose fakes/phoneys (read: narrator / chronic overload.. what some call 'german cyber crips' etc) and do my own thing... everyone everwhere knows i'm a white brit.
This forum is my way of connecting to the music i enjoy, sharing what I know and learning myself... thats it.. anyways.. this site is moving to dubcc.com sometime this year, since the forum has overtaken the other aspects of the site from the original vision i had.

I just asked around since my host was asking who hacked the site... now know it wasnt you, and they havent asked for anything since I showed them the page with what mickey had said on it.. they said they thought they knew who it was before i got back to them anyway.. but i dont know whether thats related to the first or second time.
