Ice Cube Releases New Before Hip Hop Premix feat. LL Cool J & Chuck D
Nearly a month after legendary and iconic Westcoast Hip-Hop pioneer, Ice Cube, dropped his latest critically-acclaimed solo album, Man Up, and a little over a month since dropping the album’s powerful Hallway Productionz-produced lead single, Before Hip Hop.
Cube, who is currently in the middle of his Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude headlining tour.
Returns to the powerful single with a just as dope, if not better remix of the track, he is calling the, Before Hip Hop Premix that features two more of the greatest emcees and lyricist’s, as well as two more fellow Hip-Hop icons and pioneers in LL Cool J and Chuck D.
Ice Cube, LL Cool J and Chuck D, all showing and proving why they are still three of the greatest emcees to ever touch a mic. LL dropping such standout bars as,
“Hard to stay current, all these serpents and cartel. Got to dive deeper, learn to float catching reapers and sharks after dark. It is an art, Mona Lisa. Before Hip Hop. Martin laid in Ebenezer. You lucky I am rocking parties. Your body would be in a freezer.” Before Chuck D drops his knowledge about before hip hop with such bars as, “Before Hip Hop brothers still reached for the trunk. It wasn’t just bass, it wasn’t just funk. Side eyes for the sidewalks talking all that junk. Before Hip Hop they funk you right on up. Before Hip Hop we fought until we got caught. The law putting both our black asses in court. Before Hip Hop records still got bought. 33s and 45s. Before New York crime news at nine. No neighborhood support. Before Hip Hop we all still came up short. Before Hip Hop, the cameras, we still got caught. Drank, smoke, told mama jokes. Before Hip Hop cops, we still got choked. But don’t blame it on Hip Hop, ‘cause we still got hope.” To close out and add to Ice Cube’s already steady and powerful message from the original track.

looks like ice cube will do the same move as on the previous album, hope there will be another remix, but apart from that two legends with really dope parts
was Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It (Ice Cube Feat. Nas & Scarface) (Remix) evr released on iTunes?He should release it on all streaming channels

Don't think Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It remix was ever released on iTunes and I have never heard the dirty version of Race Card. BTW, didn't Warren G produce that? I thought I had heard that somewhere.

No, it wasn't. It was released as a single, but not on the final album (even though it was supposed to be the twelfth track at one point). Pretty sure Race Card was exclusive to certain retailers if you bought the CD from them specifically. Same for a couple of other Raw Footage tracks.

Race Card = Laugh Now, Cry Later For a limited time Best Buy would provide buyers of this release with a small card (see attached images) that listed a website (WWW.BESTBUY.COM/ICECUBE) and a unique code that, when entered on the site, allowed for the download of 2 bonus tracks; "Run" and "Race Card". The code expired at 11:59pm (PST) on August 31, 2006
but was it the dirty version?
Yes, the Concrete (Prod. by Fredwreck) track is supposed to be included as a bonus track On Raw Footage in some country, I think Japan, but the CD is unfortunately not listed on Discogs.

I just checked my files, and the version of Race Card I have still has a few words censored. Concrete was a leak no? Raw Footage had Believe It Or Not, Don't Make Me Hurt Ya Feelings and Crack Baby as bonus tracks.

Concrete is a Fredwreck beat used by Tha Eastsidaz before Hard Times (Feat. Redman, Kokane & Bam) from the unreleased Gang Bang Muzik
