I just received my copy of the 2026 and what a joke of this release its a simple sleeve and the back cover is off. Looks like a swap meet copy. Also noticed Snoop took all the credit as producer must be throwing jabs at daz

I have no idea but I was expecting a quality release and hopefully some extras or bonuses. In the sleeve there isn't shit. I was asummi g a 30th anniversary to filled with alot of extras..nope nada

Is Daz on this forum? Honestly he has to know when Snoop said I’m going to fuck you up business wise. I guess the producer credits confirm snoop dogg found a legal loop whole and now owns the masters and all.

I bought the vinyl. It has a sticker that says "Executive Produced by Big Snoop Dogg" on the front and the back says the same. It's not the same as "produced by" though.

On the original release, Suge Knight and Dr. Dre are executive producers. It's commonplace for label CEOs to have executive production credits. Executive production doesn't have anything to do with music production. Music production is producing music, executive production is producing execution. The business side of releasing an album.
As far as pressing quality goes, I'm no expert on that industry, but it stands to reason that streaming services and online music gave all those companies that professionally factory pressed releases a run for their business, and we're now probably down to a few key players that are either on the premium side, or the budget side. I'm willing to bet pressing a good album booklet is a bit of a lost art at this point other than a few particularly interested individuals out there.
