It's the biggest Hip-Hop radio station in New York, and arguably the whole country.  You get in heavy rortation on their station, and I can guarantee that your album is going to go at least Gold.  THe station has it like that.  Their station DJs include known names like Kay Slay, Funkmaster Flex, and Angie Martinez.

THeir Summer Jam is the Hip-Hop event of the SUmmer.  It's always sold out, and draws a lot of attention from the Hip-Hop world.  This year they're going for broke and trying the first Hip-Hop stadium concert.  It's going to be in 80,000 seat GIants Stadium (where the NY Giants play  ;D ).

So far it looks like they're going to succeed in making this the biggest Hip-Hop concert on record.

Sadly, unless your names are Snoop Dogg, Xzxibit, or Dr. Dre, WestCoast artists wouldn't go over too well with a largely New York audience.  That Summerjam concert is always about 75% New York.
