Is it just me or wasn’t he like a laid back, calm, collected, mature character with style back in the Death Row mid-90’s era. Look at him in his first video “Doggy Dogg World” he was a totally smooth and refined character.
Now he’s got this wild, grimey, disorganized, overweight, loud, obnoxious persona.

People get old, their personalities change. My older relatives don't have the same personalities as when they were younger. Some become loud grumpy old men, some get real quiet. Just cause these guys are celebrities, the slow mental deterioration that comes with age should still be expected.

I think Daz has always had a shade of that ADHD personality but there was just no social media back in the 90s. There's that clip of him calling into the radio yelling at Eazy.

Rapping-wise he was way more laid back in his DR days. I like that daz much better.
