i've just heard this og version. as Sccit said for many years he seems that he is right about dr. dre ghost produced that dogg food album.
if you compare this og version to the final version, you can see dr. dre co produced it and took it to another level with new drum kits, guitars and additional piano. also "mixing" is fire.
check them out.

I prefer the Dogg Food version...maybe because I'm used to it but something seems off with the OG and not just production wise
-
I feel like it was just fair exchange giving Daz more credits on the Dogg Food album after Dre took credit on previous projects.

There’s less going on in the original, fewer verses and adlibs (the one at the very start is particularly annoying), which makes it the better version of the two.

it was dre's world, daz was just livin in it

the OG is the one on "Doggy Bag"...its also the explicit version

so you like the original less .. because that's the one with too much going on
the dre version on dogg food isnt the original

Sorry, yeah, the Dogg Food version is the better of the two.
When I stated original I meant the Dogg Food one as I thought the Doggy Bag track was just a rough draft.

I believe this as well. they couldn't put Dre on the credits or Eazy-E would have got paid more than all of them.

Dogg Food, we can all hear Dr Dre's finger-prints all over the album.
Why he was not credited, remains a mystery.
As Dre ALWAYZ has his name first in the credits.
Eazy/Ruthless got paid a percentage on The Chronic, were they seeing dollars from Doggystle too? Never heard it mentioned, so i doubt it would be the case for Dogg Food.
Otherwise 'Natural Born Killaz' and 'California Love' etc...would of all been credited to Daz as well ;D

Eazy was boasting about getting paid from Dre’s records all the way until he died in 95. I believe the deal was supposed to last until the year 2000 but Dre and Tomica sorted it out earlier after Eazy passed away.
