Haha, since Dre said he's been using AI, maybe they really did use some on Missionary... ;D
More seriously, it's still the same voice model I usually use. I built it from the Snoop vocals from the Rock Band game, which were the cleanest and best ones I could find. I'm pretty sure I also mixed in some of the voiceovers Snoop did for Call of Duty.
And yeah, I hear the resemblance too. The vocals definitely have that Missionary Snoop sound in places. I think they came out really well, pretty realistic.

I see what your implying and I think you're definitely on to something

in fact the only good thing I remember about the album is when I first heard it I was like "Damn Snoop really sounds better than he has in 20 years"

he sounded more energetic and enthusiastic no doubt

so i can see why it tricks the ear into thinking he sounds better on first listen

but when u really listen, it actually came off like the vocals were cut n paste + far less natural sounding
