Word... I also hate racisim and i was debating weather to watch it, beacuse my friend who recomended it put me off a bit.. as i hate racism (me and him are white) when i asked him what the film was like he said,
'He curbs a nigger, its well cool'
That kinda made me think it was a pretty shallow film.. After punching the person for sayin the word 'nigger' i watched the film and i was 110% suprised at the content and the pure emotion conveyed. It was a great plot and moral to the whole story itself. The gore, when present is pretty graphic.. But its not really thoughout the film.. I think i can pick out about 2 parts that might make you cringe a bit.. but thats it.

Good flick. Worth the watch. There are a few scenes that'll make you cringe, but it's worth seeing fa sho
-
its ok...though im not one for emotional flicks

i saw this movie.. and fuck it was amazing ..
edward norton's performance in the movie was fuckin outstanding and i think he deserved to win an oscar..
certainly one of the best movies i've ever seen ..
-
Shit this is one of the best films ive ever seen...its alongside the likes of other racist/anti-racist movies like mississippi burning.
I kno im a female but i dont often get emotionally involved with films...
...just watch em for enjoyment, however this one i have on dvd...seen it cuntless times.
And it still hits me...damn i cried at the end...the nasty bits peoples refer to are what makes the "change" more powerful and plausable...its hard to watch in certani places like the curb scene (even tho we see this violence all the time) because its on a helpless individual...and the dinner table scene...not to mention the bathroom scene!
Id advocate anyone to go out and see this film if you havent already...and edward norton and edward furlong were the best ive seen them i think!

....we got this on dvd, very good film ;D
-
Edward Norton is the best actor
dont forget about twilight, fight club etc
-
its a great movie, that really opens your mind and makes you think. I like it when edward norton finally figures out how dumb it is to be a skin head. He figured out that in no was does it make his life better.
-
damn i never even heard of this movie but yall make it seem damn good..
ima peep this soon
-
I watched it this week, its pretty good. There wasn't much neo nazism and harsh violence like i expected, but the movie blended in perfectly. The ending was also very dramatic and awing.
-
great movie...when he curb serves the black foo...and gets raped...ur probably gonna get queezy...aside from that its just a tight movie...actin and everything...near perfect...IMO
-
Yup, great movie. It's both entertaining and intelligent - not many movies are like that.
-
Yeah I've heard so much about it, But I've never seen it...I want to see it, so I'll probably rent it today ;D
-
^^^ Do so bro...or regret not having seen one of the most powerful movies of the last couple of years! 8)

The director of it was so pissed off at the way the movie studio edited it and changed his vision of it that he wanted his name on the credits to be changed to Humpty Dumpty. Funny thing is though, they probably made it a better movie.

i cant remember if i bought this.. or if my dad did.. or maybe my lil sis...
i remember not being sure if i wanted to see this film when i first heard about it.. so i guess i didnt buy it... its well worth watching... the racism message is pretty good in my eyes.. but its sad because of how it turns out.. but i guess that makes it more powerful
