For those of you that have heard it, what do you think. Is it him after Dre's verse? if so, do you all think its new or if its the bridge part in the watcher 2 he is always talking about in the interviews?
There are some dope echoing effects in the verse: :o
Soon as you're clear in my scope
i Gotcha(i gotcha) , red dot cha(red dot cha), the watcha
Fools cant touch aftermath, we too hot (we too hot)
you cant stop us (you can't stop us), watch us (watch us)
muthafuckas dont think they can't get got, i gotcha (i gotcha)
when i spot cha (spot cha)....
its too lit, if you see me up your block(your block), with my glock cocked(cocked), call tha docta
-
woooaah :o
cant wait to hear this
-
I think that's dre. Sounds like it could have been written by hitt tho.
-
no way in hell could that be dre, its hittman...pretty tight. I imagine that was taken off watcher 2 and dre just gave snoop and jam that to sort of authenticate the song instead of it looking likie a cheap internet mix of snoops lyrics over the watcher 2 song.
-
well I have the Mixtape, and Hitt isn't credited.
-
actaully, I just gave it another listen, and it does sound like Hitt. Ah, who knows.
-
well, 100% sure that its hittman on the chorus, so he should have been credited never the less, so that point is out the window. The reason he probably wasnt credited for that bridge is because he is probably raking someones pine needles right now. RIP hittmans rap career.
-
I d0nt have th Blueprint CD, did they credit him on the Watcher 2?
-
ok... well hittman was originally said to be on 'the watcher 2' with rakim.. and back then i was told he was only doing the hook.
this is weird tho... near as dammit the beat from the jay-z one.. but the hook is diff... like where's truth at?
first hook is dre... the final hook is definitely hittman
wish the original dre/rakim + hittman on the hook version would leak...
guess with some creative splicing a version could be produced now... but still its not 'real'..

word i thought it was dre at 1st to when he talks about the gloc, but i aint sure now either listenin it agen, and if y'all sure its hitt, imma take your word for it, the hooks dope anyways!
-
truth hurts was just taken off this one, its just a cheap remix by dj jam...just for difference in the song, hittmans part is the same on the chorus
-
its for sure hittman tho no doubt
-
Can anyone mix this tune with the Watcher 2 track? I'm interested in making a 'professional' remix with Jay, Snoop, Dre, Rakim, Hittman & Truth...
Get at me if you can.

I'm gonna give it a shot, probably later on though. I'm going to email Ben Baller and ask him what's up with this

Anyone know where I can git this song in full?

No.
Writers credited is A.Young, S.Carter & W.Griffen, meaning that Dre produced it, and either Dre, Jay or Rakim wrote Truth Hurts part..
And that Jay-Z or Rakim wrote Dre's part.
Dre could have written Hittmans part, as I know Dre writes some choruses from time to time, but Jigga could also have written the chorus.
Anyone know where I can git this song in full?
mIRC, channel #bay2la or #oneworldrap
Mixtape called "VA-DJ_Jam_Presents_W_Ballz-(2003)-2CD-OWR"

That would be doooope..
Btw.. this is definately Hittman, for those who doubt it.
-
I've been sayin this ever since the song hit the net.....
-
the hittman extra hook isnt on the jay-z version.... truth is

But Hittman is still on the track on Blueprint 2.. ;)
-
but i mean not this verse part.. he's only on the hook (we think) ?

An email i just received from Dj Ben Baller:
that is from the Original Watcher Part II.
the Jay Z version was a new bullshit version.
even though Jay Z is my boy, the OG version
was hotter to me,....
and yes Hittman is spitting that verse.....
he also has an unreleased version that Jam ain't
got with HITT spitting a 16 bar verse after
Rakims Rhyme.....
and naw, not a chance you will be getting a clean
copy from me. there was major drama in our camp
to the guy who released and bootlegged HITT's shit
early...
peace and thanks for your interest.
So that makes 3 versions of the Watcher 2 :o:
Jay-Z Version
The Original Version
The Version with Hittman adding a 16 bar verse at the end
4 if you count the Watcher 3
-
good shit :)
-
released and bootleg's shit early? that Hittman murder weapon bootleg? 1/2 the shit in that wasnt even cdq, he needs to start gettin Hittman's name out again
-
ben baller is weak, he seems mo interested in himself than gettin hitt any shine
