I prefer Nate simply because... I prefer him, sounds better to me, who do you think is better?
-
they're both dope. i know more music from nate dogg. nate dogg is always good on both hooks and solo joints. danny boy isn't always good on hooks ;)
-
Danny Boy is an R&B artist. Nate Dogg is a hook singer.
Both are dope. But how can you judge someone with 2 or 3 albums compared to someone that you have only heard about 7 solo songs from?
Wait for Danny Boy "DB" to drop.

Danny Boy for solo songs
Nate Dogg for hooks
-
I pick Nate Dogg..
But his style & sound is becoming mad diluted now.
He has pimped his sound & Novelty all over the hip-hop scene exsp: recently.(almost on the boring tip)
Everyone has used Nate to make hitz & never hook's him up come his own lp.
straight singing tho..
this is no-contest Danny Boy win's hand's down.

Thas how I see it...it's like comparin Shaq and Kobe, they are there to do different things.
I'd rather hear Danny Boy on an all R&B track with complex changes, jus as he did on the Death Row Christmas album, but Danny boy's voice ain't strong enough to hold shit like 21 Questions or the new 213 track, his voice is toooo R&B.

Nate Dogg for hooks
yep
but i love dannys Hook on "Too gangsta for tV"
-
I'll never get what (HipHop) people like about Danny
he sounds like any other RnB cat and many boy group fags sound exactly like him too.. he doesn't have no own style at all
to me there could never ever be a contest with Nate, I'd listen to a Nate solo track over a Danny track any time that's for sure.. in fact I'd never get the idea of listening to Danny
-
Like most people here are saying, it's Danny for the songs and nate for the hooks.
For me the difference is that Nate's voice is powerful, so give him a strong melody and he'll sing a hook that will stay in your head forever. But his voice is also ultimately boring -a solo Nate song always ends up dragging for me.
Danny Boy on the other hand is a singer. His songs on the Row's Xmas album were enough of an example of that. The guy has a great voice. Not always for the hooks - I Ain't Mad At Cha and Picture Me Rollin' lacked good choruses because dude tends to riff and ad-lib rather than do Nate style hooks.
So there you go - different strokes for different folks.

Nate Dizzle is the shizzle fo rizzle
I didn't mind Danny Boy when he did tracks with Pac but now.. where is he?
Nate hands down
-
I like both of them...
I think it's funny that 3 people voted for the "BZ mak is an RnB bitch" option...
Some people... ::)

Ask SUGE!
DB has more music than half of the artists out!
If you ever get chance to hear DANNY'S "Impossible" you would put him up with Enrique Iglaisias, R Kelly, Aretha Franklyn! The song is so good. I have it on now.

There's no doubt at all !!!
Of course I voted for "Bz Mak is an rnb bitch!"
Well, actually I voted for Nate Dogg, he's on a whole another level, not to say planet.
Only Butch Cassidy can touch Nate Dogg some times when it comes to choruses..
-
lmao@danny boy
