There Tons. Simpsons have the record for the most Guest stars to appear on a TV Show Series.
Hmm, here's to name a few from the top of my head: Tony Hawk, Rolling Stones, The Who, U2, n'sync, House of Pain, Bret Hart, Gary Coleman and lots of different TV/Movie actors - Not sure if any popular rappers have been on.

Mike Jackson was on that episode where homer goes to the nuthouse, cypress hill were in the episode where homer goes on tour as the cannonball dude, blink 182 were in an episode, but no rappers. :(

The two biggest guest spots they landed were from Michael Jackson, and Paul McCartney.
Michael was on the one where they went to the nuthouse and a guy there thought he was michael jackson, it was funny. (Like T.J. Said). Mike also wrote a couple of songs for the simpson's album that came out, I think he wrote "Do the Bartman" and there was one for lisa he wrote. He's not even listed in the credits, he ghost wrote the songs. He's a big fan. As a matter of fact, when "black or white" came out (a little bit later), it debuted after the Simpsons. Bart was sitting on the couch watching t.v. (Or really, he was jumping up and down on the couch) yelling "THE NEW MICHAEL JACKSON VIDEO!!!" or something, and Homer comes in and says something, then they both zoom in on the t.v., and the video world premiered. At the time, it was the highest rated television special ever, all for a friekin' music video. That was the one where he turned into a panther at the end, and had KKK spraypainted on walls and crap like that, there was all kinds of publicity the next day, and they changed the video around.
Paul McCartney was asked to be a guest, they said they were going to turn Lisa into a vegetarian for a show, and wanted him on it (he's a big vegetarian). Paul said if they made Lisa a veggie PERMANENTLY, he'd do it, so they did. He even sang some songs on the show and everything, that was bigggg back in the day.
