Title: Eve & Aftermath
Post by: Skindiana bon3z on June 13, 2003, 12:26:59 AM
Eve & Aftermath -
According to Eve's management team, Erving Wonder she is working out the details to leave Ruff Ryders and work with Dr. Dre again. Her management team says she is close to signing with Aftermath. Now to true hip-hop heads, she use to be on Aftermath but it didn’t work out. I guess Dre didn’t she what he had. Now, since Eve has come into her own Dr. Dre can work with her. The word is she is going to be a female version of 50 Cent, but we will have to see that to believe it.

The Ruff Ryder camp has been having problems with their artist from DMX to the Lox. Hopefully, Jin can bring that camp back to life.

But for Eve she is making that move, which is good move for her. Her acting career is taking off and with West Coast genius Dr. Dre behind her she is set to do bigger and better things. Philly is still behind her and proud.

If she does sign, I'm hopin' she won't be starting to make another album anytime soon. Dre's got bigger and better things to do first. He got a Rakim album to do, he got Detox to do, Ice Cube's name keeps poppin' up (although I don't recall ever hearing from either Cube or Dre that the deal is signed), most likely he'll be producing for the Shady crew (Obie, D-12), then there's the random productions he does for artists outside his label - his whole West Coast family, the occasional outside-the-family-but-dope-artist (like Busta)... He don't need anymore work. (But then again, "I do this because I want to, not to stay in the game, fuck the fame...")

It seems that nobody remember that she was on Aftermath before signing with Ruff Ryders
