lol i knew that was happening...they aint even pushin his record...they just have a couple ads...run his video once and a while...and thats it...major labels cannot promote a west coast artist...

i checked this cd out and it aint no 4 mics album, he flows pretty impressive and some tracks and does fuck shit up but overall i aint suprised, only a few rap cds sell these days so what makes this one anything specail which is gone make it sell? not much imo and i aint tryna hate cuz i wanna see the west blow up but u need to be on a massive label to blow up now and alot mo politic bullshit is involved, im glad he even sold the 24000!

plus only 12...13 tracks? makes No Limit cd's seem like they're on DVD's...master p could stick 20 something songs on a cd...and i don't really care for that video bullshit, if i wanted to watch videos i'd download them off the internet or turn on MTV...i buy a cd for music

Terrible Promotion + Terrible Distribution + Terrible Recognition + Terrible appeal to the teeny bopper crowd + name not being 50 Cent or Eminem + being from the westcoast = TERRIBLE SALES ON A GREAT WESTCOAST ALBUM

all they had to do was make a video for this , distro it to bet , mtv , muchmusic, and i swear sales would blow up , this album had potential , smooth sailin is definately a summer jam

I'm disappointed but not too suprised. To me, it seems like a bad combination of the media and major companies bein against the west coast, as well as other coasts just not carin about the west.
But with this album, it wasn't even promoted on the west...anybody who I asked about if they were buyin it, they were all like "it's out??" and most people I kno in L.A. bought Joe Buddens over Roscoe.
Man, shit's lookin worst and worst and worst for the west...7 years ago, NEVER would I have thought the south would outsell the west, ON the west coast, but now it's happenin

^true no offense 2 any dudes from the south but the south is wack as fuck outside of scarface, outkast n killer mike is decent... soulja slim i thought was decent 2 but i just ain't fillin' the souths bouncy gettin' it crunk type wack ass shit... i thought the album would do better then that but i didn't expect it to blow up or nuthin', i heard joe buddens didn't even sell that good n he's on def jam, in a video game, on mtv, bet n everything... smooth sailin' is one of the hottest joints i've heard in a while thou...

lol ur a predictable person who dislikes the south...yall cant get crunk...so u listen to the shit thats watered down...the south has plenty of quality...they have shit that u can ride to...just like the west...not to mention...they work harder than any other artists....i give south nothin but love..but if u cant understand the crunk movement...then ur lost...

Yeah to appreciate the south you have to actually scratch beneath the surface...there are alot of decent artists there...go to www.down-south.com
they are on point with their artists...whats coming out...reviews n interviews...
...get some knowledge before slating something totally...
..btw not all of it is crunked up shit...the south is a f huge area to say nothing decent comes out of it and you dont like the styles of the rappers...
...my favourite album of all ive got this year has to be magic - white eyes...check it out then come to me saying its all crunked up stuff

Hmm well to tell the truth I ddidnt set my expectations to high cause I knew he wouldnt sell more than 50.000. those who sayd 200.000 were trippin..remember even Snoop was struggling sellin 200.000 before Beautiful dropped, and think about it, who the hell is Roscoe? People outside of the internet & LA dont know or at least dont care for him. They might have heard him on Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha but they dont know he has an album droppin, he's like a Crooked I. Talented as fuck but people dont know him. but whos the one to blame?? Let me quote Sly Boogy: "Nowadays Talent dont even count anymore, its just the money" <--- and thats the truth and nuthin but the truth..BUt dont blame Priority for this album cause those peeps have limited budget, I mean Scoe shot 2 videos from this album and thats alot, others dont even have the money to make 1. They had ads in Source Mag, he was on BET, you cant expect more. He's not an Eminem where they have the money to make billboards or tv commercials.

ok heres the official number.........remember Realizm said he sold LESS than 24.000, so he didnt really sell 24.000, cause Roscoe only sold 8,517 the first week...
