Man that brought out a lot of memories from my childhood Wrestling was the shit in those days
I dont know if people still watch wwf or not i havent seen it in about 4 years but nothing compares to what it was like in the early 90's
miss the good old days man

One of you mods better send this topic over to my turf

ya the wwf is nothing like it used to be , i wish it could go back to how it was in the old days where all belts like the tag titles and intercontinental belt matches were interesting , now the only interesting match is the heavyweight title
-
wrestling- like Hip Hop, Cartoons, and Quakes Self Esteem- has been going down hill for a while now.

hehe thats pretty damn true
It was tha shit back in the day.. I went to a show when they come over to the UK.. I was madd on wrestlin!

yer, the old school wwf was the bomb and since then the only good period of the wwf has been the corparation/corperate ministry/dx/union/brood, period. That was the shit. Since its changed its name to wwe, split the wrestlers to raw and smackdown and got rid of its competition its been weak.

Man I was really into wrestling for a couple years ago. I even went to some shows that the WWF and WCW did here in Germany.
-
Yeah I was really into wrestling in the 80s...brings back memories of the British Bulldogs, Ivan Volkoff, the Iron Sheik, Rowdy Roddy Piper, the more materialistic version of Ted DiBiase, Junkyard Dog, Adrian Adonis, back when they used to have WWF in place of Saturday Night Live every few months and the WWF cartoon that was on Saturday mornings. Ahh youth!
I've only ever been to one event, back when NWA used to have matches every Sunday night here in Atlanta...I forgot who wrestled except for Dick Murdoch vs Ric Flair. Everyone in the arena wanted to fight afterwards too.

N e 1 else think Rick Flair sucks as a wrestler. Talk about somebody who never does a move in his life.

Ric Flair can still wrestle. Take a look back at the last PPV, Flair vs Micheals was the match of the PPV and before that Flair vs HHH was a great match. Flair can still wrestle. And for those of you who don't like Raw and Smackdown having seperate rosters, well thenguys like Orton, Cena, Edge, etc. wouldn't be as big as their are and now they're some of the biggest names in wrestling.
-
i think part of the reason that wwf sucks now is that they don't have any competition, before they were fighting with ratings , and it helped them do better, now they don't got no one to go against

There is the NWATNA, but although they say they want to go up against Raw on Mondays, they say is not a good economicly for them to sign a cable TV deal yet.
But they think that they're better then the WWE, but there PPV is on a Wed. instead of Monday or Thursday. So they seem scared to go up against the WWE right now.
