i havent heard too many
the only one i can think of is
Whateva U Do
-
i wouldn't say bad tracks but there have been some dissapointments...
"my melody" with TQ: with that much singing and musical talent on one song, you'd think it would be off the hook...it's a definate skipper on my MP3 list...
"dowhatchawant" or whatever it's called, with digital underground: as a digital underground fan since doowhatchalike....once again this song should have been at least great, but once again was a skipper
"put it on me" with dre...two producing geniuses and this is what they come up with? you'd expect something to blow your eardrums and fry your brain...this beat was WAY sub par.

that shit was tight, before they played it out

Whatever You Do is like one of his best tracks imo..perfect beat/vibe/lyrics/and even the course is nice...I love at the end when he leaves the beat in for a couple minutes then it ends...
ohh and a bad dj quik track..hmm..I seriously dont know any

each of those 3 are tight. i actually don't know any quik song that ain't good.

Man, All those tracks everybody named are fresh IMO...
The only track that Quik has done that I didn't like was that one off the deep blue sea sound track called "Get money" or something of the sort. I dunno why I don't like it, but it just rubs me the wrong way.
1 outta 454 is a pretty decent ratio tho :)
-
birdz & beez really sucks...
put it on me and my melody are both tight i think...
i expected more from put it on me though...
but it aint bad..just aint comin up wit my high expectations

I thought 75% of Balance and Options was faaaaar below par for quik. Shit had me thinking I was crazy until Quik said it himself that the album was a sacrifice move to get Arista to drop him and null his deal. It was just a bunch of demos, he even said it was wack.
Other than that, the only tracks I don’t really feel are the ones with James Debarge and some of the other kinda wack rappers from quiks camp. I know some peeps really like mausberg, AMG, 2nd II None etc but I don’t think any of them are good enough for a quik beat and to me they're lack of creativity and originality REALY take away from the songs. I'd keep Suga Free and Hi-C and stop letting the rest of those 15$ rappers get on 50 thousand dollar beats.
>:(

I see there is no reggae/dancehall lovers around here...I'm feelin Birdz N da Beez.

WTF?? 1 on 1 was dope as fuck

I'd say "Addictive" is his worst beat. I never really felt it. Also, I didn't really care for "Doe Doe & A Skunk" off of "Street Gospel" either. If you just mean his songs, then I don't know. Guess I'd have to think hard about it.
Peace

I think addictive is one of Quiks best beats. I can't think of any bad quik songs.

"Doe Doe & A Skunk" is one of my favourite beats. quik laced some of his best beats on street gospel.

Damn, I think I'm alone on this one. I also agree that he gave some of his best for SG, but I wasn't feeling that track.
