Cobra gets trendy on Playaz In Paradise, where reggae meets gangsta rap; this 14-track CD was originally released on VP Records in 1992. The explicit lyrics, thumpin' beats, and tough attitude will have you envisioning Uzis, Tech 9s, driveby shootings, and gang wars over drug turf. Cobra wrote and co-produced all the songs, with the most devilish being "Ghetto Game," "All Night," "Through a Gangsta's Eye," "West Coast Anthem," and "You Ain't Smokin' Nuthin'."
I can agree with the comment although I doub the album was has any reggae sound on it & the original release date is odd too. I cant image listening to the production that it was released in 1992. You really can feel the Bay Area G-Funk on this album. Production is smooth & done by Cobra himself & "Whole 9" who also produced DRS & Dru Down.
