Suge Knight Arrested in Los Angeles
By The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Rap impresario Marion ``Suge'' Knight reportedly has been arrested a second time this year for allegedly violating parole.
Police arrested the 37-year-old founder of Death Row Records Friday evening, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.
Calls to the police and the district attorney weren't immediately returned Monday.
The Times reported that Knight was jailed without bail, but the county jail inmate information Web site didn't show a booking. Knight's lawyer, Robin Yanes, said Sunday he wasn't notified that his client had been arrested.
Knight completed 61 days in jail earlier this year after a state prison board found that he'd associated with a known gang member in violation of his probation.
At the height of its success in the mid-1990s, Death Row Records, now called Tha Row, had rap superstars such as Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on its roster. But it lost its luster in the late '90s when Shakur was gunned down on a Las Vegas street, and Knight was sent to prison on a probation violation for brawling in the hours before Shakur's death. He was released from prison in 2001.

Don't think it's gonna be a long binge this time either... Maybe a month or two. But definately not good develpoment towards releasing Crooked I's album... (Or is it? Like they say - there's no such thing as bad publicity.)
-
damn hopefully they dont push the crooked i cd back AGAIN

I sometimes wonder if the "powers that be" are making sure that Death Row doesn't come back. It seems like they're keeping a really close eye on Suge, and arresting him whenever he slips up even a little bit. So....Is this it? Are we going to see the demise of Death Row Records sooner than later?

say bye to the bad guy
-
he was arrested cos the car park attendent took too long getting his car and he assaulted him

Kicking someone in a Vegas casino when you are on parole = 5 years in prison
Beating a parking valent because he's takin too much time, when you are parole = ?? years in prison

Does anyone in cali know how the 3 strikes rule works? In Suge's case, when he was locked away the first time, he was already on parole for some other shit he did before that (Strike 1). So, after kicking Orlando Anderson, was this considered a new charge which, in light of the fact that he's already on parole, got him sent away for 5 years? Cuz if that's true, this should count as Strike "2." Now he commits another crime beating up the parking lot attendant. Is this Strike "3" for Suge?
