Given the music industry's tendency to shuffle Hiphop release dates, what Ludacris had to say at Tuesday's BET Awards was a bold statement. "Chicken & Beer is dropping September 30, not a day later, not a day sooner," the rapper declared. "It's going to go down in a major way."
Luda also revealed that the album's first single will be a party anthem produced by Kanye West (Jay-Z, Lil' Kim) called "Stand Up." "The single will be dropping like the end of July and that's exactly what that shit is going to make you do," he said. "It's going to make you stand the hell up. Believe it."
Chicken & Beer, named after Ludacris' favorite food and drink almost two years ago, will include appearances by his Disturbing Tha Peace crew, along with Snoop Dogg, Scarface, 8Ball and MJG. "It's an all-star cast [on the album], but most importantly, my damn self," he joked before the ceremony.
In the meantime, Ludacris can be seen and heard in "2 Fast 2 Furious", and will also appear on the second single from "Right Thurr" rapper Chingy, whose Jackpot is due July 15 on Disturbing Tha Peace Records.

sounds dope as hell, Luda & Kanye should be intresting!

No doubt this albumwill be bangin! ;D

I'm coppin' this no doubt. The choices for guests is dope: Southern legends Face, Ball and MJG and the King of L.A. Snoop. I don't really like the DTP but he has them on all his albums so. At least it will be few guest appearances.
