Im going to the dental surgeon in 15 mintues to get my 4 wisdom teeth out. Im starting to get a bit nervous over here and I dont really know what to expect... :-X
Anyone got some advice for me?

all my wisdom teeth have come through apart from one that keeps swellin up every now and then and it feckin hurts.......i went to the dentist this morning and he said i may aswell leave it :P i thought havin wisdom teeth out was a big thing and quite painful (not tryin to scare you mate ;D)

ve-e-e-e-ry worried about it. I reckon that's why I dreamt about mine falling out.
I've only had one tooth taken, and it wasn't a wisdom one, but from what I remember it's just the injection that hurts a little, then everything's numb.
You hardly notice the blood gushing out of your mouth really.

Mine have kinda cum thru, use to hurt a while ago but they seemed to cum outter the skin and then stop so that was cool.

Well, its 3 o'clock now, 6 hours after sugery, and Im in some serious fucking pain. My mouth is still somewhat in the frozen state and Ive been bleeding all over without even knowing it. I woke up about a half-hour after sugery and I felt alright ( not as bad as I thought ), but now I wish I never had this shit done. They actualy gave me my bottom two teeth to bring home with me and they are huge. They shatterd my top two because they couldnt get them out properly and Im having the most pain on the top, right side of my mouth. I almost was in tears about an hour ago, and Im really starting to get hungry. This fucking sucks bigtime! On top of all that, I smoke chronic heavily and cigarettes and I was advised not to smoke for a least a week because you get a serious infection called the dry socket. :-X I fee like a need a spliff to put me to sleep because these pain killers dont seem to be doing much.

pain doesn't really bother me much but when i got all 4 wisdom teeh taken out at once it hurt like a mothafucka. Just say u wont be eating solid food for a while and talkin clearly.my chipmunk swollen look went down in 10 days.

oh babe !! i feel really sorry for you :-*..........that surgery sounded feckin orrible and to top it all off, you cant even have a spliff :o thats shit !!

That sounds familiar. My top two were coming in sideways, thats why they shatter them. And as for the money, lucky my Dad had a nice dental plan to cover the charge (I think it was 900$ canadian) but you have to pay another $330.00 cash upon arrival for the anistetics.

I didn't even get put out when I got mine out. All 4 took about 45 minutes. I couldn't open my mouth for about 2 days. It didn't really hurt either. I guess I got lucky.
