Bryant maintained his innocence, but acknowledged that he "made the mistake of adultery" with the woman, who worked the front desk at the resort where he was staying while in Colorado for knee surgery.
"Nothing that happened June 30th was against the will of the woman who now falsely accuses me," Bryant said in a statement.
His wife, Vanessa, also released a statement, saying she stood by her husband. "He is not a criminal," she said.

Well Kobe's respectometer just went from 1 to quake like negative Karma numbers in my book. His wife needs to have some pride and step away from him or she gonna look more and more like the digger Clinton said she was.

i had a lot of respect for kobe untill i heard he admitted he committed adultery. in my book that makes him a fuckin scum bag. an whats even more sad is no1 is really making a big deal about the fact he fucks around on his wife. so it sends the message out that its alright to cheat on our spouse. explains why divorce rates r so high.

why would a woman need to stand by a man that cheated on her? That doesnt make her a "real wife", it just makes her a "real stupid wife". Do u think youd want to stand by yur wifes side...even if she fucked some other guy?
