i got alot of respect for C bo and he is one of the best bay area rappers ever BUT why does he need so many guest appearances on his recent so called solo cd's????
Till my casket drops was classic but look at all the guest appearances, he should drop albums like Tales from the crypt and gas chamber, his only TRUE solo's
i dont got anything against the artist that appear on his cd's but i wanna hear more Bo Loc, i heard he only has 3 solo songs on the Mobfather
Bo Loc can no doubt hold a whole album, especially with producers like Mike Mosley, Rick Rock etc.....
i think he should get with Sam Bostic again, him and mike mosley laced with some of the dopest beats ever

I like guest appearances but I would like to see at least half the songs on any album to be solo. C-Bo doesn't need many guest appearances. There was 5 solos on Til My Casket Drops and i thought they were the best on the cd (Deadly Game, Desperado Outlaws, Boo Yow!, Till My Casket Drops and 357)

If you don't count songs with someone singing a hook only and C-Bo doing all the raps, there's 8 solo songs on the LP. Everything that C-Bo has put out has been a straight quality album. His 2 albums last year (Life As A Rider, Westcoast Mafia) were real good, and The Mobfather is no different. He's the most consistent rapper in the West in my opinion.

i bumped the album last nite
it's dope ass fuck !!
as you said already, another quality release

wasnt tha realest on that album on a cut? i really wanna hear that track (c-bo & the realast..wasnt that the title?) should be a nice collabo and its cool to hear some new material by tha realest. need to check it.
-
the track with the realest is actually one of the songs i wasn't really feelin, the production could've been better i think.
