MILAN - At the end of Inter's 2-1 victory against Roma in the Pirelli Cup, Nerazzurro president Massimo Moratti explained the Ronaldo situation with a telephone call to Inter managers.
"The meeting with Florentino Perez was just a courtesy visit," said the Inter number one.
In short, the two clubs tried to discuss the possibilities of a Ronaldo transfer, but there is a huge difference between the positions of the clubs.
"It was just to put an end to a period of contacts about an important matter," added Moratti.
Real Madrid's offer is a long way off meeting the estimations made by Inter and as a consequence there are no concrete possibilities of any new developments.
