any news?

btw, rumour has it that hi-tek & just blaze are part of the reason why ra got dropped. obviously interscope wasn't happy with their work...

i still believe that its all bullshit and it is still gonna come out on aftermath we have heard no offical news about this rakim nor dre have talked about this and i still dont believe it

Yup, right now they're just benefiting off the rumours..

If it really was true, you would think that Dre, Rakim or a more official source would speak on it, a press conference or something.

This is a quite different thing than your regular Canibus-dropping from your label.. ::)

no its not people are taking it to serious its business not personal. i'd drop Rakim (any artist for that matter) if i knew he weren't gonna make me money, wouldn't you?

Yeah, but not making money on a Rakim-album all produced by Dre & Primo-tracks is impossible.
Furthermore, Dre, Rakim, Aftermath, Eminem and more have hyped this SO MUCH, that just dropping him without a word seems VeRy unlikely....!

At this point there's no new development. Rakim is talkin' to someone seriousily to get a new deal. If it's once finalized and done we'll bring you more information. So stay tuned.

I just don't see how Rakim is at the BET awards saying the album's coming out, then does any interview with thaformula.com and goes on MTV then just leaves the label out of the blue.  He's not one to do interviews and be in the spotlight so I don't know why he would do all that if he wasn't thinking everything was fine and the album wasn't coming out.

who cares about ra anymore...his prime is way past him...im glad dre dropped him...i'd rather see a joe beast or a game ablum anyway
