Title: ABOUT TODAYS PROBLEMS!! -> BACK BUT MIGHT BE SLOW :(

something to do with the host... i guess it could happen again.. i dunno.

i figured out a workaround.. the host doesnt actually seem to know this ;)
(their site is still fucked up.. haha)


it might make the board a teeny bit slower..

i just wanna keep a link the test page i made last night here coz i need to change the connect method back to the original method when its fixed.

Seriously though, I have to admit that I've got about five times the amount of work done in the office today than I normally without posting. And on a Friday that's really something...

its definitely running slow.... more people online makes it worse... :/


when the host is fixed i can make it faster again by connecting the original way

yeah i know.. funny aint it :)


btw.. i *still* cant change the board back to how it should be...

and its pure luck how i worked out the way around it..

if i hadnt made little php page with the message on and then made it check the dbase connection so i could see from that if it was fixed.. and then notice another way for connecting to the database (for the n3rds.. proper way is 'localhost' as it uses a local pipe, but i'm using 127.0.0.1 which gets routed back to self over tcp/ip.. therefore is a bit slow).... then we'd still be down!... check www.ximinc.com for yourself... they still got the error over it.
