SATURDAY, JULY 26 at 9:45 p.m. (ET/PT
In the main event, Fernando Vargas (22-2, 20 KOs), from Oxnard, Cal., resumes his quest to recapture the junior middleweight crown when he takes on top-ranked Fitz Vanderpool (24-4-4, 13 KOs), from Trinidad. Vargas captured his first world title in only his 15th professional bout, but suffered hotly contested losses in mega-fights against legendary boxers Felix Trinidad and Oscar De La Hoya. He is now looking to regain the top spot in the division. Vanderpool continues his own quest for the belt and is looking to solidify his position with a big surprise victory.
