LL kinda dissed Warren in "Hollis to Holliwood" from Mr Smith album (1995). He said:"The way ya stack chips and regulate wild dough / But ain't no G - funk and far from my era / Tales from the hood your boyz will feel terror".
Warren replied in "What we go through" from Take a look over your shoulder in his lines: "But these MC's, is scared to buck / Plus they talk too much and smoke too many blunts / You fuckin rookies / Sweet as Mr. Smith's cookies / Ya hate me one minute and tha next ya wanna buck me / He sent a hoe, in the back seat of my fo' / While ya Goin Back To Cali, watch how you flow / Now ya know, about this Warren G Era / G-Funk terror, look into tha mirror".
I dont think this was a serious beef between them, just LL maybe saying some shit about Warren's success with regulate and Warren replying. Warren himself said in his message board recently that he and Uncle L are good friends.

Its probably a case of LL being jealous at the time & also the East Coast West Coast drama. Remember LL dissed 2Pac for no reason, so it dont suprize me what LL did to Warren
Ohh well its interest but old & obviously its over. I wonder if Warren will post in this thread to give us some background on the whole thang
