Title: Hey, check out some of my work..
Post by: Jome on July 29, 2003, 01:22:15 AM: These are CD-covers, front and back.. made from scratch from single pictures..
50 Cent is almost done, but Bubba & DMX has some way to go yet..
Drop some comments on the design/layout, not the artist.. :D

50 Cent, best of
Almost done.. just some polishing to go..
I decided to stick with one or two colors as a theme for each cover, that's often what the pros do..
I was worried about having 3 pix on the cover, but they seem to fit eachother, I think.

Bubba, best of..
It's shaping up, but there will be some more layers, and a few more details added.. I refuse to use closeup pix of Bubba, only blurred pics.. he's a ugly mofo.. ;D

DMX, best of
A lot of layers in this one..
The effects on the front took a lot of time to get straight..
Diff. colors and diff. transparency on diff. layers was pretty difficult..
The back-cover still have some way to go yet..

I did a Jayo Felony cover today..
I had to manually erase the background on the pic on the right.. shit took time..

Yeah, I agree.. but I want simple and easy readable texts..
And only 50 Cent is nearing completion.. DMX needs some work, and so does the back of Bubba.

There's too many text-types to choose from though.. and with all the color/shadow-styles, it's difficult too choose.. lol

What did you use to make those 3 banners in your sig ??

I believe Exzit also used Photoshop for hes Graphix. He did got quite good I must say...
