What'z up from Australia,
In terms of his westcoast producing skillz, 'VMF' is definitely the best westcoast producer in California today. No doubt! Don't get me wrong! What Dr.Dre did for 'Deathrow' iz amazing.
'VMF' bringz the following to the table with hiz trademark westcoast beatz today - bumpin' basslinez, westcoast synthesizerz and the roger troutman-like talkbox. Before anyone should comment, check out some of 'VMF's' resume:
(1) Mr.Shadow - Till I Die
(2) Mr. Shadow (feat. ODM) - 61909
(3) Mr. Shadow - One Man Batallion
(4) Royal T (feat. Latino & Bizz) - Coast to Coast
(5) Young Sicc - Spread The Word
(6) Big Capone, Eastside Gangsters & Royal T - Knockin' At Your Door
(7) Low Profile Gangsters - Riders
(8) Payaso & Royal T - Killa Cali
(9) La Conecta - Gangsta
(10) Mr.Shadow (feat. OG Sanch) - Califon-i-a
I'm so confident in 'VMF's' production skillz, that I think that he can resurrect 'Snoop's' westcoast-sounding career, with beatz similar to that of 'Doggystyle'. Before most of you call me crazy, make sure you've listened to the beatz on at least 5 of the above trackz I've mentioned, if you haven't already.
Peace ! 8) 8) 8)

E-Low a producer outta Daygo. He work wit everybody down here. Mitchy, Mr Shadow, Damu, Black Mikey, Brim-Stone...etc. He used tah run a lil underground radio station out hea...but tha FCC shut em down. I think they threatened tah come take all hiz equipment away when they found out where he was broadcastin from...sum shit like dat. But he'z like tha Dr Dre of SD....him and Cricet prolly tha 2 tightest outta SD. Yall mighta heard Cricetz name on shit. I think he produced that song on E-40'z album, wit Jayo....frum "Element of Surprise".

the only stuff i have heard on this guy were on the first Relativez album and one song on Mr.X's solo cd (Lowrider)
based on the songs i have heard this guy brings plenty of heat, vintage westcoast gangsta smooth sound, i would like to hear more of this guy fo sure
what albums has he produced entirely by himself or had a big part in
BTW i had no idea VMF=Steve Vicious
this guy is dope and all but cmon u cant compare him to DJ Quik or Dr. Dre
-
u cant compare him to DJ Quik
you can't compare anyone to Quik, he's light years ahead of any producer in Hip-Hop
