What would you say, if Aftermathmusic.com will be shut down in the next few weeks? I didn't get any support from the label and ya'll know, I run this site since 1998.
A lot of sites are gettin support from Interscope, but Aftermath Music not. Is this ok? I don't think so. Aftermath Music is the premier source for the Aftermath Fans outta there. The Site was trying to make the fan-artist relationship even more intimate and create a more involved and personal experience. The site was easily mistaken as official. But no response from the Label. So my thoughts are to close the site.

ure' keepin' & reppin Aftermath like no other..
I always figured they were hookin' u up or giving u prop's or something homie.
But u did it all for the love...
trust me, without your insight, they will have a void missing on 411,an outlet.
shitt u already rep their new talent..
honestly I would be like FUCK Aftermath...lol
I appreciate all the hardwork and I enjoy the site.
But it's ure' decison homie, and I prop u for all the hard work u have put in.

Dedicato, i appreciate everything you have done at that site. and i understand why you would want to shut it down. All i have to say is make a couple of final efforts to get their edorsement before you shut it down. if you do not get a response, do what you have to do. if it doesnt work out, i just want to say thank you ;)

I was an active staff member a year ago and could witness the incredible amount of time Dedicato invested in the site. It's fucked up he doesn't get more respect from Interscope/Aftermath.

Man, too bad you didn't get the kind of reply from the label you wanted. But I'd really, really, REALLY hate to see Aftermathmusic.com shut down. All them DJ interviews, the news is always on time... I love your site man. Please don't shut it down. If the support of the label is needed to keep it going, I beg of you to try to approach them again. There's a whole community here who comes to your site for info on Aftermath. Of course, in the end of the day, it's your decision what to do with the site, but I, for one of I'm sure many, would hate to see it shut down.

Dedicato man......yur site gets like over 8,000 hits a day, 1 of tha biggest on da net, and U have been a big help 2 me and my people, U been at it since 98, dats 5 years, yur a veteran in da internet world, U can't give up now......I appreciate all da support......U have 2 find a way 2 get these aftermath muthafucaz 2 support, I'm tryin 2 put in word but U kno how we dun see em too often......U gotta find a way man, petition sounds coo I guess, U gotta go harder on them managers too......

man you have a great site i would really hate to see it go down but if you not gettin support i understand why you would do it.......hopefully you can work something out and with the help of us fans we can get a petition started or something to that extent...you should go ahead and start it and im sure we would all be more than happy to sign it....but good luck with all your shit and like we have stated THANK YOU for everything you have done

1st of all, thanks for your love and support for the site. I really appreciate it. Aftermathmusic.com is one of my biggest hobbies around. But I've to say: Luv ya honey, also. She gave me the time and the power for makin this possible.
At the moment Aftermathmusic.com is probably the only internet portal of the label and I hope I can offer the fans all information about the label and the artists they need. But I need a lot of support from the Label, too. Cause I dont wanna give out any fuckin rumors n stuff like that.
I dunno why Aftermath or Interscope NEVER answers my letters or emails. I swear, I really dunno why! Websites like Ballerstatus.net, DubCNN.com or Rapbasement.com are gettin alot of promotional stuff and interviews, but Aftermath Music not. I think the problem is, that I´m livin in Germany. I will always support the Aftermath Shady G-Unit camp, 'cause I´m a big fan of Dre, Cube 'n Rakim. I really luv their productions and I can't waith for the albums.
You know, the site is str8 for the fans. But I also need the support from the label to bring ya'll the latest info, some audio previews, new pictures etc ...
I wanna thank my crew (QD, Tim and my other members) for your support. Further more I wanna thank DubCnn.com (Overseer & Nima), WCA (Nino & Yash), RapBasement (Jason & Dave) and Rawdawgz.net (Pascal) for all your information and help. But special thanks to the visitors

And then have a complaint letter on the front page.. making Interscope or Aftermath do something..

Who does our interviews? Nima. where does he live... oh yeah germany... dubcnn is owned by rud.. its an english site...
We never even contacted aftermath/interscope for our interviews.. they have always come to us.. (50 cent/brooklyn) only the recent DPG related interviews have come from nima networking with a few people. for the rest Snoop/WC etc etc they've come to us... We just do shit the way we think is right and shit just happens. Whether we get recognition or not doesnt matter, we do it for love.. we keep it simple.. dubcnn will never be over flashy.. its meant to be direct.
Yeah its not fair I suppose.. but I've never seen anyone else from any other site bitch like this about not getting stuff from a label...
Another factor may be that your site does not clearly mark itself as -unofficial- a lot of people out there think your site is the official site. which has thrown a lot of confusion in the mix many times.
if you were to post up a rumour a lot of people would take it as gospel truth because they think your site is the official one.
