say ur ont he riaa hit list an u got like 2000 mp3's.  now when the riaa goes to sue u,  u have bought all the cd's of the music u downloaded.  can the riaa still sue u even tho u bought the music 2

Case 1: You have made the 2000 mp3s available for other people to download.
Yes, they can sue you, and are likely to win.

Case 2: You have 2000 mp3z on your HDD, but not made available to others.
RIAA can sue, but they cant win.

that would be why I don't share very much and also run peer guardian and a firewall but it's thanks to people that share that much that p2p works so well.
