Man killed at fair when hair gets caught in coaster

LANGLEY, Wash. (AP) -- The owner of an amusement park ride
has been killed in a Washington state roller coaster accident after
his hair got caught in the equipment.

He was spraying lubricant on the tracks of the Super Loop Two while the ride was in progress at the Island County Fair, about 30 miles northwest of Seattle. His long hair was caught in a passing car full of fairgoers -- and he was pulled as high as 40 feet off the ground before falling on top of a temporary fence.

Island County Sheriff's spokeswoman Jan Smith says hundreds of people witnessed the accident. She says the victim was "basically scalped" by the ride.

McKay was co-owner of Paradise Amusements, based in Post Falls, Idaho, which had set up rides at the fair for the past three years

man i was gettin sum cereal and my gramma was watchin the news and this story was on and shit they showed the fire people washing the blood off of the rollercoaster thing cuz its a circle 1 that goes upside down u kno
