eiht started 3 years before quik,.. lissen to "this is compton" from 1989, and other classics like "duck sick", "late night hype", "def wish", "can i kill it" and the rest of classics before u vote!! 8)

If Eiht still brought that smooth-ass sound of We Come Strapped (classic album), it could be a different story. But right now it's Quik hands down for me.

lol... when I was about 16 I had a mate round my place who knew nothing about hip-hop whatsoever. After a few tracks of We Come Strapped he was like "Why the fuck does this guy keep making that sound at the start of every song?"

Maybe it's some kind of disorder.

that's very true. fellow Eiht fan over here. i actually do like Quik better, but theres no doubt Eiht is also one of the best artists from the West Coast

when it comes to greatest one of this two, the answear is QUIK... he is more succesfull, and have more records sold...

this is a fact.. so i dont think the poll was about this, the poll was about choosing the one u like the most....

to compare quik and eiht is impossible.. first of all, quik is a DJ, and eiht is a MC.
they also got 2 totally diffrent sounds, voices, and lyrics.... they aint simular at all..

quik got a happy and funky sound,..... he's doin party music, and more upliftin songs to chill to.. but's doin serious songs too..

while eiht is more of a typical gangsta rapper, and a storyteller about life in the hood..

2 totally diffrent sounds.... wich one u like most depends on ur taste!

they did 2 tracks together but they haven't leaked/been released yet
