Title: Jay-Z & Fat Joe beef over B-ball tournament

Not really, but the rappers' respective basketball teams in this year's Entertainers Basketball Classic tournament at New York's famed Rucker Park got into a disagreement before the championship game on Monday night. A dispute over which team would occupy the home team's bench resulted in Jay-Z's team refusing to play. Rucker Park commissioner Greg Marius called the game a forfeit — over a bench — and said Fat Joe's squad would remain defending champions.

Post by: On The Edge of Insanity on August 21, 2003, 12:14:47 PM: Did anyone watch the program about last years tournament? Fat Joe was getting well wrorked up, so it doesn't suprise me that he would argue over something as stupid as this. He just seems to be desperate for his team to win it.
